Antidepressants
The following antidepressants may sometimes affect test results and it is recommended that you discontinue them 48 hours before testing:

• Elavil (amitriptyline)
• Asendin (amoxapine)
• Anafranil (clomipramine)
• Norpramin (desipramine)
• Sinequan (doxepin)
• Tofranil (Imipramine)
• Pamelor (nortriptyline)
• Vivactil (protriptyline)
• Surmontil (trimipramine)
• Maprotiline
• Remeron (mirtazapine)

The following antidepressants have little or no affect on testing and you should be able to continue taking them up until the time you are tested:

• Desyrel (trazadone)
• Wellbutrin (bupropion)
• Effexor (venlafaxine)
• Serzone (nefazodone)
• Celexa
• Prozac (fluoxetine)
• Luvox (fluvoxamine)
• Paxil (paroxetine)
• Zoloft (sertraline)
• Nardil (phenelzine)
• Parnate (tranylcypromine)
